Kashmir Feeds - 1MW Grid-Tied Solar Power Plant
Beaconhouse Energy Limited (BEL) recently signed a contract with Kashmir Feeds Mills, which is a flagship project of the Al-Shafi Group of Companies. The contract is a significant stride forward for BEL, Kashmir Feeds, and the emergence of alternative energy sources in Pakistan. Beaconhouse Group has provided quality education to the people of Pakistan for decades and now with BEL they look to empower businesses as well by providing solar power which would help save significantly on electricity expenses. Kashmir Feeds Limited is one of the flagship projects of the Al-Shafi Group of Companies, and is a production unit that specializes in the production of poultry feeds.
The size of the project between BEL and Kashmir Feeds Limited is 1MWp with an annual generation of 1.39Gwh. Furthermore, the annual CO2 reduction will be 896 ton, and over 1817 trees will be planted.
